The same emotions
with a different drive.
Sometimes dead, sometimes alive.

The same in one way,

So close in feeling,

Will I ever know?
Fighting to stay or ready to go?

Maybe I'm both,
in some impossible way.
Emotions oddly mixed everyday.

but what can you say?
Nothing can help her.
The pain won't go away.

But she would've stopped,
you could've said no.
That's what she wanted,
someone to say don't go.

That someone wanted her,
or at least would try.
That someone would grieve
if she were to die.

But you just stared,
nodding your head,
and she realized the truth
with a feeling of dread.

No one wanted her.
No one cared.

Drowned by Love I pounded on the door frantically, trying at the handle every now and then. My hair was beginning to freeze and ice was beginning to stick. I was sure I had frostbite as most of my body was numb or stinging. I was at this point shaking and screaming his name, pounding on the door hoping he would hear me. Finally I saw him walking down his hall, iPod in hand and most likely music blasting in his ears. However when he saw me it fell from his hand and the headphones he discarded. The Past

VisitorA stirring in the night makes
you slowly lift your head,
Paralysed you glance down
over, across your bed,
Knocking at the window, then
A creaking of the floor,
The noise it stops,
The silence drops,
And then you are a scared.

A glint of a light,
quivers through the night...

Then suddenly a burst of fire
explodes throughout the room,
Filling every darkened shadow with
a vibrant hot red fume,
A figure emerges from the floor,
Expanding 'til it can't grow no more,
Snarling, snapping,
Panting, Gasping,
Clumps of heavy fur rest
over, across its eyes,
Its twisted spine shapes like
the curve of a half moon,

One Night As I lie in bed, the nightlight casting long shadows across the walls, I can't help being scared.

I hear a fierce prairie storm approaching, thundering hooves upon the warm spring air. Then the rain starts. Huge battering rams against the windows; echoing with each pounding strike.

Streaks of lightning burn across the sky incinerating the air above our house, their light blinding me through tightly closed lids.

Monsters"Mommy, please check the closet for monsters again?" The young child pleaded again.
"No sweetheart it's late and you have to get to sleep." The mother scolded.

The child pulled the covers closer and hugged the teddy bear even tighter.
"But I heard something! It was a monster somewhere in the room!" The child pleaded again to their exasperated mother.

"Honey, we are on the top floor, the windows and doors are locked and your father and I are in the next room, nothing is going to get you, now turn off your light and go to sleep, there are no such things as monsters." The mother said tersely, her patience quickly disappearing.

Does anyone know the name of a fairy tale about a girl whose mother dies, and her father has to remarry whoever fits her mothers shoe. But the only person who fits is the daughter and she has to run away and dress in a full leather outfit and work as a servant to escape? I think its from the middle east or Egypt if you remember its name please tell me. Thanks.
